Features Of The Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo

  • Zoo playset filled with different habitats for all animals
  • Includes polar bear, gorilla and a lion
  • Lots of surprises for kids, like peek-a-boo doors
  • Carry handle makes it easy to take anywhere
  • Easy to set up with a Phillips-head screwdriver

The Animal Sounds Zoo is designed to teach your child about animals in three ways: the way it looks, its name, and the sound that it makes. Children can play by matching the animal to its habitat, and the included habitats are also suitable for additional animals should you choose to buy more in future. There’s also a DVD included that will let your child learn more information about the animals.

There are plenty of features on this set to keep things interesting. It’s much more than a static playset, with some of the fun features including:

  • A ticket booth where Zookeeper Zack makes his announcements
  • Peek-a-boo doors where an animal can pop through from one side of the set to another
  • Squeaking nest
  • Slides, swings and teeter-totters
  • Stickers to decorate the set

Is The Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo Worth Buying?

As far as animal sets go, this one looks cute and comes with a large range of features to provide your child with various fun activities. Size wise – it’s not too big and not too small for toddlers to play with, and the built in handle makes it easy to pack up and take with you wherever you want to.

The animals themselves look good, and can be a good source to help your child to associate it with the real-life animal. The sounds add an extra element of fun, but could become a little irritating to parents!

One thing to note is the fact that the set does require adult assembly. Specifically, you’ll have to screw the set together, but it’s easy and doesn’t take long. Aside from this, the only downside is that the number of animals included in the set is quite limited. If you do want to buy more animals in future, they are quite costly in comparison to the price of this full starter set. That said, they will add an extra element to the game in the future, and fit together well with the animals already included.

In short, if you’ve got a child aged between 18 months and 6 years old, they’re bound to love playing with all the parts that come with this set. The best thing is that it’s affordable, too!

What Some Customers Have Commented About The Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo

OLIVIA “2LibrasMama”,

We have been buying Little People toys for our daughters for 10 years and have never been disappointed. My two-year-old is now the proud owner of virtually every Little People toy created in the last decade. She loves animals, so we decided to buy the ZooTalker set for her. The set comes with three animals and we bought the additional animals as well. She has had so much fun putting the animals on the slide, watching them go down, then crying out “Again!” The only issue I have – I don’t say problem here – is that I cannot seem to figure out if a monkey exists for the ZooTalker line. On the box, there is a monkey pictured, but I have not been able to locate it either at the store or on the Fisher-Price site. I can only conclude that they will come out with a monkey in the future. We love this toy!

Cherise Kachelmuss “Mom and More”,

The Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo is for ages 1 ½ to 5 years old, and my 3 and 4-year-old sons love it. There is so much to do, both front and back that my boys didn’t feel crowded with both of them playing. The set makes so many different noises, not including the music or speech about the animals. There are squeaks, twist noises, clicks and more. My boys are just so excited each time they play with it to make as much noise as they can! There is a slide, swing, twisting leaf, peek-a-boo door and little spots to put the animals. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the set only comes with three animals and a zookeeper. It is enough for two-three kids to play with but I would like to have more animals. Luckily, there is a total of nine other animals you can purchase to play with in the set that I am sure I will be adding to ours.
