Is The Hohner 5 Piece Toddler Music Band Worth Buying?
The Hohner 5 Piece Toddler Music Band is a great little set from Hohner. You’ll notice right away the bright colors that make the instruments much more interesting to young eyes. Holding their attention is key at a young age, and these do well from the outset.
Beyond the colors, the instruments have all been designed for easy use by little hands. Your toddlers won’t have any trouble picking up and playing with these, meaning they can have all the fun they were meant to without any difficulty.
With 5 instruments in a single set there’s plenty to keep a toddler occupied. Whether they like to make rhythms with the drum, tinkle the colorful xylophone, or shake and rattle with the three differently designed rattles they’ll have tons of fun.
The 5 instruments also mean that up to 5 toddlers can play with this set at once. They can each play with their instrument independently, but if they feel like it they can play together too, making music in pairs or groups. This is a great educational experience for young ones, teaching them social skills and how to play together.
Instruments are also great for the parent who likes their kid’s play to be educational. Toddlers can learn lots about creativity by playing with the instruments in this set, encouraging them to come up with their own little songs and engaging them in a more active form of play.
The box that the instruments come in is reusable so it can be used for storage. That helps you to avoid the age-old problem of finding toys scattered all around the house, helping you keep your home neat and tidy. On top of this, the toys themselves are durable, so even rough play won’t ruin them.
Overall this is a great set, made even better by the low price tag. There’s absolutely no reason not to go out and buy this. So let your kids get creative with the Hohner 5 Piece Toddler Music Band.
What Some Like About The Hohner 5 Piece Toddler Music Band
It’s hard to find musical instruments for toddlers, especially quality ones. Many band sets are junk or don’t include pieces you’d like. This set is adorable, durable and includes the items you’d want in a set and not the ones you wouldn’t. The xylophone comes with a little cardboard insert that shows you how to play four different tunes and it had a place under it to hold the mallet. It’s durable enough not to scratch when my son “plays” it with a butter knife. The drum/tambourine has a cute under-the-sea pattern and the plastic covering is surprisingly supportive of a 23 pounder’s foot on top of it. The maraca, bells and…twister? have grooved handles that are great for chubby hands and my son loves the twister thing. So glad I found this and didn’t give in to one of the bad quality other brands!
My 2 year old daughter loves musical instruments. I was having trouble finding a xylophone that wasn’t big and bulky, something easy for her to handle. This one fits the bill perfectly. The mallet is a much better shape than most round mallets, and even snaps onto the back of the xylophone for storage. It also has a beautiful sound. I bought the instrument set because it wasn’t that much more than the xylophone alone. The other instruments are just as great. The are the perfect size for her hands, and make fun noises. She loves them all.
