Little Tikes Cozy Pumper Review
Are you looking for a playtime toy that your children can learn to pick up the skills of imitation especially in the everyday things that parents do? If so, Little Tikes Cozy Pumper is the one toy worth checking out!
Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, and it’s no surprise when young children aim to imitate their parents in everything they do. Playtime is no different, and that’s where the Little Tikes Cozy Pumper comes in.
The Little Tikes Cozy Pumper is an imitation gas pump with electric sounds, a hose and nozzle, and even a credit card machine! The Cozy Pumper is the ideal accessory for children who already have child-powered cars, and they will get great satisfaction in filling up their car with gas, just like their Mom or Dad. Suitable for children 18 months up to 5 years, this weather proof little gas pump is most popular with children 3 and upwards.

Is The Little Tikes Cozy Pumper Worth Buying?
The Little Tikes Cozy Pumper is a fantastic concept poorly executed. Children will love using the Cozy Pumper with their other toys, but parents will be disappointed in its performance.
For starters, the Cozy Pumper is far too light. The slightest nudge is enough to topple it over. Small children will not mind, they will just keep on pumping, but it’s disappointing to see a toy so poorly designed. If there was a method of weighing down the Cozy Pumper so that it was not so unsteady, it would be a greatly improved product. As it is, any interaction with the Cozy Pumper results in it toppling over. The only solution is to prop it up against a wall of sofa, but you try telling your children that their toy isn’t to be moved!
Little Tikes have equipped the Cozy Pumper with 6 different sounds, and while these are nice and varied, the buttons need to be pressed quite hard to activate the sound. This feeds back into the lightweight issue above; the button needs to be pressed harder than the toy can stand without falling over. Again, this issue could be so simply resolved by adding a little weight to the base.
There is little doubt that the Little Tikes Cozy Pumper is a great idea. Small children will love imitating their parents, and imaginations will run wild. The problem is that it could be so much better. The concept is great, and the build is of good quality despite being lightweight. The buttons are weather-proof, so you can leave the toy outside without having to worry – although a strong gust of wind might well take it away! The bottom line – as a parent you may be disappointed, but your child will love it.
