The VTech Alphabet Activity Cube is a pretty big toy, and that’s the first thing you’ll notice about it when you give it to your child. An infant or toddler will find it to be a fairly big object to play with. This should help it to hold their attention more easily.

Of course, the main selling point of this toy is its educational qualities, so let’s take a bit of a look at those. The cube is broken down into several main components. There are the faces, two of which are electronic and three of which are mechanical in nature. Then there’re the blocks.
The electronic faces feature piano keys and a number pad. The keys play corresponding notes, allowing your child to start getting a basic grasp of music. The keys are large and easy to press, so they can have a lot of fun messing around with those.

Unfortunately, some toys come with fault components that make it read out the wrong letter – these can be exchanged for a new unit. Some people also feel that the voice isn’t clear enough when it reads out the names. However, this is a complaint from a small minority.
